Bobcats on Fire!
The Bobcats dominated Northeast Storm 3-6 in Sunday's action at the Easton Chiller. Athens outshot the Storm 30-17 and the final score reflected their efforts. Senior, Will Angelos, was on fire posting the first hat trick of the season and two playmakers were racked up by Kevin Deal and defenseman, Andrew Newton. Tanner Wood and Chris McGraw scored their first goals of the season and the last goal of the game to seal the deal was from Henry Smith. Assists came from Smith and Joel Chalfant with one each and James Ervin with two. The Bobcats are getting geared up for a busy four-game weekend, away on Friday and home Saturday and Sunday. Let's hope they can keep the fire burnin' and put more marks in the win column!
