COVID Protocol (Athens Youth Hockey Association | Athens Ohio | Bird Arena)

PrintCOVID Protocol
2019-captain-skating.jpgAs of January 2022, all COVID protocols and restrictions were lifted at Bird Ice Arena for players, parents, coaches, and staff.

During the 2021 / 2022 season, the AYHA conducted hockey practices, scrimmages, and games at a number of ice arenas across Ohio and the Midwest, and COVID policies varied greatly by ice arena facility.  It was the policy of the AYHA to adhere to the requirements of each ice arena, and the association is grateful for the patience and understanding shown by our players and families during the season.  The AYHA will endeavor to stay up to date on future changes with timely communications to hockey families in the event conditions change during the 2022 / 2023 season.
