Athens played with 8 skaters again. Evident tiredness after playing with 8 skaters the night before against Newark, but still managed to play tough and completely dominated the first 5 minutes. Just couldn't sustain the pace. Gave up 3 goals in the 1st and 4 in the 2nd. Shea Kendrick in goal faced 33 shots. Young injured, Dowler sick, Garcia absent, Bowman and Bowman in Mentor with Varsity. Athens goal with 4:53 remaining in the 1st by McCarthy from Kohn. No penalties for Athens. 2 penalties for Hilliard in the 3rd; 2 min for interference and 2 min for slashing
