Athens Hockey Gives Back
The Athens Bantam team worked with Big Brothers/Big Sisters to adopt a family for Christmas this year and with the High School team to raise money for gifts and food to share....
The Athens Youth Hockey Association’s Bantam and High School hockey teams would like to say a big ‘THANK YOU’ to all those in the community who came out this weekend to cheer the teams on and support the goal of gathering donations to share with an Athens area family for Christmas! Your support made it possible for the kids to give back to their community and be a part of a project that really exemplifies the word TEAM. The kids had a lot of fun in the process and felt great being able to take on the role of Santa for a night. Thank you to everyone who continually supports Athens Youth Hockey, this organization wouldn’t be the same without you!
