Advance registration *is* required.  Hockey-experienced adults and youth welcome.

Certified youth can officiate age divisions younger than them (e.g., a 10U player certified as a USA Hockey official can officiate 8U games). Certification involves pre-seminar study and online exam as well as on-site written exam and on-ice training, depending on level. Requirements detailed at https://www.usahockey.com/officials.
