Squirt, 2011-2012 (Athens Youth Hockey Association | Athens Ohio | Bird Arena)

The Athens Squirts tangled with the CCYHA Blues on Saturday, November 11th.  The Cats played extremely hard but came up short in both games, including a heart-breaker in the second game.

The Athen's Squirts won in a blow out, 11-2, and then battled back for a 4-4 tie against the West Virginia Wild on Sunday.

The Athens Squirts won their opening game 6-1 against the Easton Kings, but fell to the Easton Bruins 6-4 as the season officially got underway Saturday, Oct 22nd at the Easton Chiller.  This year’s squad has many new faces getting their first taste of Squirt style hockey.

The Athens Squirts will open the season this Saturday, Oct. 22nd, with a pair of games at the Easton Chiller.  Puck drops for the first game against the Kings at 1:10 and then later against the Bruins @ 4:40. Parents, be sure to pack both Jerseys and check that all gear is in place.  Try to get to the rink an hour early to start getting dressed. Safe Travels and See you all at the Easton Chiller
