The Junior Varsity team plays in the Greater Columbus High School Club Hockey League (GCHSCHL), facing teams from the Columbus and Dayton, Ohio areas. Players must be enrolled in high school to be eligible. Players can come from any high school or home school in our region; the team is not officially affiliated with Athens High School and does not play under OHSAA jurisdiction.
