AYHA Mites

Mites are players birth year 2006 and younger. Mites share practice ice Mondays and Wednesdays 5:15 - 6:15 pm with the Mini-Mites, and play games about two weekends per month.  About half of the games are at home; travel is to Columbus and Newark, OH and Charleston, WV. Emphasis is on building individual skating and hockey skills and laying a foundation for team play in a fun atmosphere.  Games are half-ice or cross-ice, which gives an proportionately-sized area for young players.
