What a Difference a Week Makes!

In the first game the Bobcats fought hard through two scoreless periods but the Cincinnati Cyclones scored early in the third period. The Bobcats answered back just 3 minutes later to tie the game. Dominik Steinberg scored a goal with an assist from Turner Andrews. Then late in the third period the Cyclones scored two goals to win the hard fought game. Goalie Ethan Gates had an amazing day with 24 shots and 21 saves. The second game was as hard fought as the first game and it ended in a scoreless tie. Two Victories for Athens PeeWees

After two tough losses on Saturday in Cincinnati, the Athens PeeWees bounced back on Sunday to beat the Owenboro Puckhogs 2-1 in both games. Scoring for the Bobcats in the first game were Koby Smith and Dakota Hashman with an assist from Turner Andrews. In the second game, the first goal came from Turner Andrews with assists from Ethan Gates and Dakota Hashman. Ethan Gates scored unassisted for the Bobcats second goal. Great teamwork Bobcats! The next games will be Saturday, Nov. 21 at Bird Arena at 11:30am and 3:15p.
