Policies

The Athens Youth Hockey Association is an affiliate of the Mid American Hockey District, which is one of twelves districts that make up USA Hockey. The AYHA is required to maintain several policies related to hockey procedures and safety that adhere to USA Hockey guidelines. Additionally, the AYHA is subject to the policies and requirements of Ohio University, which owns and operates Bird Ice Arena.

All Association members, parents of youth hockey players, are required to review these policies each season and assist with enforcing them.
