'Cats Continue Weekend with Shutout #2

The 'Cats kept the momentum going Saturday night as they faced off against Northeast Storm to earn their second consecutive shutout of the weekend! Athens offense was on a firing fury in the first period as they had eighteen shots on net resulting in three goals, 2 for Kevin Deal and 1 for Kyle Dean.
Athens remained strong offensively with a total of 32 shots on goal as Dean scored his second goal of the game in period 3 assisted by Andrew Newton making the score 4-0. Jacob Schriner, Chris Corrigan & Dean assisted the first three goals respectively. Athens defense played an outstanding game holding Northeast to only 13 shots-all saved by Goaltender, Jake Bloomfield, to earn his first shutout of the season.
The 'Cats are hoping to finish the weekend with 3 in the win column as they face the Prowlers on Sunday.
