Submitted By Valerie Young on Friday, August 17, 2018
Try Hockey for Free on September 6 at Bird Arena! 5:30 pm for gear fitting. 6:00 - 7:00 pm on the ice.

Anyone age 10 and under interested in learning to play hockey is welcome. No prior skating experience needed. Join Ohio University Ice Hockey and Athens Hockey 6U / 8U players on the ice. Everyone will be fit with gear and a stick and helped to get skating!

Novices can sign up at the event for a 6-week series of Learn to Play Hockey lessons.

AYHA 6U and 8U players can trade in outgrown gear for loaner gear that fits, and test out their gear for the coming season.
