Hey, Coach! New USA Hockey requirements!

Contact Director of Hockey Phil Oberlin ([email protected]) ASAP to coach with AYHA for the 17-18 season.

Every coach on the ice or on the bench must provide a USA Hockey number to the AYHA Registrar and complete an online concussion education course mandated by Ohio state law. BEFORE being placed on a roster, a coach must complete a USA Hockey online training module for the age division, a background check, and online SafeSport training. By January 1, rostered coaches must have "leveled up" in coaching certification as required by USA Hockey.

AYHA reimburses our coaches for fees incurred to meet USA Hockey requirements.
